I have posted the clues for the Black Hills Letterbox 1 on our website
http://members.tripod.com/lane.t/grid1.html
This box is placed below the summit of Harney Peak (7242 ft), the highest
mountain east of the Rockies and west of the Pyrenees. It is a lvely hike
of about 6 miles round trip. The trail is well marked and popular but may
be inaccessible during the winter. The trail head is in Custer State Park
and there is a use fee which allows access to the park for 1 week.
The park is approx 10 miles from Mt Rushmore and you can see the back of
the that mt. from the summit of Harney Pk.
This box fills in the map. Wont someone now go out and find the Dakota
boxes?
